Food and Beverage Accelerator

Hosted by The University of Queensland, FaBA is part of the Federal Government’s Trailblazer program and brings together research teams to work with industry across Australia to develop premium products and ingredients and train the next generation of industry leaders, funded with $50million in federal funding and $110 million in university and industry funding.

Queensland Quantum and Advanced Technologies Strategy

This $67 million strategy is a Queensland Government plan to position the state as the home of quantum in Australia. It includes initiatives to strengthen quantum research, support quantum infrastructure and accelerate industry success, drawing on local quantum experts.

UQ Emory Vaccine Centre

Queensland will be a major international hub for vaccine discovery and development with a $32 million partnership secured between UQ and US-based Emory University, with support from the Queensland Government, to establish the Queensland Emory Vaccine Centre (QEVC) at UQ.
