Application closing dates
The six UQ Animal Ethics Committees closing dates for submissions are listed below*.
*Please note
- There is no longer a submission deadline for new applications. All new applications will be eligibility checked by Research Ethics and Integrity staff before being allocated to an appropriate AEC for review. We encourage you to submit your applications as soon as practicable.
- Once an application is approved by an AEC, your continuing work on this project (e.g., amendments, responses) must be submitted to the same AEC, in line with the submission dates below. Submission by a closing date, however, does not guarantee that your amendments or responses will be considered at the next scheduled AEC meeting. Allocation of items to an AEC agenda is based on eligibility check and AEC workload. Applicants are therefore encouraged to submit all amendments and responses as early as possible prior to a closing date.
