Key dates for CRC Selection Round 19

The Cooperative Research Centres (CRC) Section Round 19 opened on 24 May 2017 and closed on 12 July 2017.

  • Stage 2 opens: September 2017
  • Stage 2 closes externally: November 2017
  • Anticipated announcement: March 2018 (with funding commencing from July 2018)

Overview

The Cooperative Research Centres Programme is overseen by AusIndustry, within the Commonwealth Department of Industry, Innovation and Science. The CRC Programme aims to foster high quality research to solve industry-identified problems through industry-led and outcome-focused collaborative research partnerships between industry entities and research organisations.

CRCs are large-scale, flagship industry-research centres. UQ has a strong history of participation in the CRC Programme since the inception of the first CRCs in 1991.

UQ's strategic involvement in CRCs (lead proposals or non-lead involvement) is coordinated by UQ Research and Innovation through the Research Partnerships Office (RPO).
