Overview

The CRFs are intended to support Queensland Health clinician researchers undertake research linked to their practice. The program recognises that clinician researchers (including doctors, nurses, dentists, allied health practitioners and clinical scientists) are uniquely placed to identify clinical issues that can benefit from further research, lead patient focussed research discoveries and facilitate improved patient care through research translation.

How to apply

Step 1:  Scheme reading

  • Familiarise yourself with the key Queensland Health and UQ documentation.

Step 2: Completing the application

  • Fill out the application form and collect all required documentation which are available on Queensland Health’s webpage.

Step 3: UQ R&I internal review and feedback

  • In advance of internal review, ensure all components are complete and valid.
  • To initiate internal review, email your completed and certified Funding Coversheet, draft application form, and  draft Letters of Support to UQ R&I at fellowshipgrants@research.uq.edu.au
  • Internal review by UQ R&I/feedback provided (compliance/eligibility/grantsmanship).
  • ​Send your finalised Application with all required attachments to UQ R&I through fellowshipgrants@research.uq.edu.au.
