Research awards and prizes

Research awards and prizes can enhance the track record and reputation of a researcher. UQ Research and Innovation directly supports nominations for key national and international prizes and awards.

The UQ R&I Research Awards team focuses its efforts on a list of prestigious national awards, as well as those included in the International Ranking Expert Group (IREG) List of International Academic Awards (PDF, 726.9 KB).

Please contact grants@research.uq.edu.au if you have enquiries relating to these awards or are interested in submitting a nomination.

Further information and support

Further opportunities for recognition in particular fields of research can be located via the Research Professional database, using the text search field (e.g. ‘award’ and ‘physics’).

Your local Centre, School, Faculty, or Institute research support teams may also be able to assist in identifying suitable opportunities and reviewing nominations.
