Overview

The UQ Research Facilities Infrastructure Grants (RFIG) is a competitive scheme for infrastructure/equipment funding, targeted at maintaining and upgrading UQ's major research facilities. Central RFIG funding will be available to support new initiatives and upgrade or replacement of infrastructure, and is distributed on a competitive basis.

How to apply

  • Step 1: Familiarise yourself with the key UQ documentation.
  • Step 2: Complete your application using UQR&I Online Forms.
  • Step 3: Submit your completed and validated Application Form, including the required PDF uploads to UQR&I, using the online system.

Using UQR&I Online Forms

  • To create an application, navigate to the UQR&I Online Forms login page.
  • Log in and navigate to the ‘Home’ page. Use the ‘New Form’ link on the left of the screen to create a new application
  • Select 'UQ Research Facilities Infrastructure Grants 2019’ as the application form type, then begin completing your proposal
  • Once complete, the Application Form should be validated and submitted.  The submission must include any co-contribution approvals and Research Facility Endorsements, as relevant.
