Partnership Projects aim to create partnerships among decision makers, policy makers, managers, clinicians, and researchers to create and support new opportunities to work together to define research questions, undertake research, and interpret and implement findings into policy and practice.

How to apply

Step 1. RGMS updates and scheme reading

  • Update your full profile in RGMS 'My Profile and CV'. If any team members are new to RGMS and need a login/password, start early.
  • Familiarise yourself with the key National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC) and UQ documentation.

Step 2. Completing the application

Step 3. UQR&I internal review and feedback

  • Ahead of internal review, ensure all online components are complete/valid and generate your proposal snapshots in RGMS (refer RGMS User Guide - Applying for Grants)
  • To initiate internal review, email your completed Funding Coversheet to UQ R&I at
  • Also provide completed UQ Certification Proforma.
  • Internal review by UQ R&I/feedback provided (compliance/eligibility/grantsmanship).

Step 4. Final submission

  • Final submission by UQ R&I to NHMRC.
