About ARC Assessment Processes and key changes

Professor Joanne Tompkins, Executive Director to the Australian Research Council (ARC), will visit the University of Queensland (UQ) on Wednesday 8 November 2017.

Executive Directors are appointed by the ARC as respected researchers of the higher education and research sectors to liaise with the research community and contribute their expertise to inform ARC programs, policies and peer review processes.

The ARC has introduced a number of changes to the Discovery Program and Professor Tompkins will provide an overview of the Program, including:

  • Eligibility Assessment updates
  • Medical Research Policy updates
  • Outline of the general ARC Assessment Process

Professor Tompkins will be available for a Q&A following her presentation.
