Overview

TRIP Fellowships provide support for health care professionals, personnel, systems personnel, researchers, and policy makers to translate evidence into healthcare and public health improvements. The Fellowships, aimed at developing early- to mid-career applicants, provide for half of a full time equivalent position and are not designed to support applicants already established as health care leaders.

How to apply

Step 1. RGMS updates and scheme reading

  • Update your full profile RGMS 'My Profile and CV'. If any team members are new to RGMS and need a login/password, start early.
  • Familiarise yourself with the key National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC), Funding Partner and UQ documentation.

Step 2. Completing the application

Step 3. UQR&I internal review and feedback

  • Ahead of internal review, ensure all online components are complete/valid and generate your proposal snapshots in RGMS (refer RGMS User Guide - Applying for Grants)
  • To initiate internal review, email your completed Funding Coversheet to UQR&I at nhmrcfellowships@research.uq.edu.au.
  • Also provide completed UQ Certification Proforma.
  • Internal review by UQR&I/feedback provided (compliance/eligibility/grantsmanship).
