The Australian Government has applied a national collaborative approach to support research infrastructure projects. Funding is currently being provided to the following projects through the National Collaborative Research Infrastructure Strategy (NCRIS 2013 and NRI 2015). NCRIS builds collaborative research facilities that bring together funding from the Australian Government, Queensland Government, industry, universities and university researchers to help provide research infrastructure that facilitates the delivery of practical outcomes that help Australia.
